While serving the Upstate for over 50 years, Dr. Steven Nigh has earned the trust and respect of patients and colleagues alike. Dr. Steven gets to know his patients and engages them in such a way as to properly and accurately address their specific needs.
Specializing in primary eye care and vision therapy, Dr. Steven has had the opportunity to transform many lives through dramatically improved eyesight, eye health and function. He enjoys his church, baseball, and the Ohio State Buckeyes and spending time with family including his wife of 48 years, 5 children and 10 grandchildren.

As a second generation optometrist, Dr. David has embraced his father’s occupation as well as his passion for excellent comprehensive patient care. He is committed to hearing patient concerns, providing solutions, and working tirelessly to make available every possible option for treatment.
To that end, Dr. David is certified in fitting cutting edge orthokeratology contact lenses which are worn during sleep to eliminate the need for glasses or contacts during the day. When he isn’t working, Dr. David enjoys medical missions, snowboarding, kayaking, playing the cello, running with his wife and playing with their two girls.

Dr. Courtney Hegener is passionate about improving patients’ quality of life by maximizing visual potential. She enjoys optometry because it provides the opportunity to connect with patients as individuals and address their unique vision needs while always providing excellent full scope primary care.
One of her favorite areas of practice is ocular disease management; however she has a growing interest in scleral contact lenses as well. When she isn’t checking eyes, she enjoys reading novels, doing puzzles and crafts, swimming, and weightlifting in addition to traveling and checking out Greenville’s blossoming food scene and outdoor activities.

Dr. Allison Chilton values getting to know her patients and helping them with their visual needs. Due to her own high prescription she is particularly interested in helping children through myopia control.
Before becoming an optometrist, Dr. Chilton completed her Masters in violin performance and worked as a classical violinist. She moved around to many different parts of the country while her husband served in the US NAVY but loves being in Greenville due to its proximity to the mountains. When she isn’t helping people with their eyes, Dr. Chilton enjoys golfing, hiking and trying new restaurants.

Dr. Laurie Niederbrach loves being able to problem solve any kind of eye issue her patients present with. Making sure they are heard and leave with the best vision possible is of absolute priority. While she is truly happy seeing anyone of any age for primary care her primary interests span from pediatrics and vision therapy to neuro-optometry and specialty contact lens fittings.
Originally from a suburb of Chicago, Dr. Niederbrach enjoys exploring downtown Greenville and the Swamp Rabbit trail. Her other interests include running, swimming, singing in choirs and playing flute or piano at her church.
